Roscoe von Adelmar is the sweetest 4 year old German Shepherd of medium-to-high energy level. Like most of our dogs, he is exuberant when first coming out for a walk but eventually calms down. He listens pretty well to corrections and, once he warms up to his handler, Roscoe shows a very sweet and loving side. He seems to just want to please and avoids any problems, presenting overall great manners. Roscoe comes into the play yard with a positive attitude and meets other dogs well. While in the yard he is mainly in his own world, avoiding any problems, and asking for affection from his humans  He was raised with small children and loves to play ball. In his excitement he pulls on the leash, and will need some basic training, so you might want to take advantage of the free, group obedience session that comes with his adoption.   (No cats, please)
